Mizu in Staten Island

Amazing good

Took my wife here for Valentine's Day.. The service was great.. The host and waitress were both kind and polite.. The food was pretty good and got to us in a timely fashion.. And afterwards they gave here a single stem rose as a gift.. Will be coming back to this place more often than not

Staff was friendly and on top of things, I did not enjoy the food. My hibachi chicken was dry, a bit over cooked. My partners hibachi steak was bland. On the plate I had far too many of just one type of veggie and had only three carrots and four very tiny broccoli flourents. Would not recomend.

I meet friends in this lovely spot many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I go there many times. The cooking is excellent, the staff is polite and the prices are good. I like going in this restaurant over a good lunch.

I love this place the hibachi is great.and the people are very nice .I also got green tea ice cream it is delicious .I ordered the hibachi salmon and my dad ordered the hibachi steak.It was great,the texture and the food was great and I also had ginger sauce with my food .I would definently recommend this place it is great.

Food is always great. If you have a food allergy they accommodate it. Owner always remembers you when you come back. Been going there for years. My son loves it. Favorite place to eat.

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I got to say the customer service is always great and they keep the place clean constantly. Rates are convenient and they serve large portions.

We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Nice food nice place must try

Would not recommend. Waited a solid 20 minutes after being seated for someone to take our order before we finally said enough is enough and left. We observed a few employees texting on their phones and eating as we waited, until the health department showed up for a surprise inspection then they scrambled.

I have eaten at over 20 different sushi restaurants in the tri state area, and with my experience here I must say it is in fact THE best and freshest sushi I have ever eaten. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, waiters pay close attention to you, and sitting at the sushi bar always warrants you an extra little unique dish on the house. I love this place and recommend it to anyone who loves sushi and even those who want to have a great first experience.Junior @ A&B Collision

2017.12 didn't know they open for 12 years....good quality... servers are nice...my son and daughter said the salmon teriyaki is very good.... i ate the passion boat... perfect for 2-3 ppl.... abt 7-9 different fish...if you have enough people, worth to try, they have hibachi as well. just like other japanese restaurant, they will have chef speical on thursday ad friday

Food is great! I love seeing them make it in front of you. I enjoy coming here may be 1 a month or every other month. Sometimes delivery is a bit longer then it should be but the food brings it back to a 5 star!

I admire this restaurant! They have high class meals, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that spot is a specialist, I love very much tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently tasty, the service towards the customers is efficient. I often go to this restaurant and I was never disappointed. I recommend it to all.

The habchi is good as well as the other food on the menu. My girlfriend always gets sushi, which is good as well. Place is recommended

Not too fond of their tempura. The vegetables were saturated in oil and i couldn't really enjoy them. Also, the shrimp tempura was very bland and the miso soup tasted like it was sitting for several days. That's just my personal opinion. However, my 12 year old daughter really enjoyed the Salmon and California rolls.

Great sushi!

My wife and I had dinner there last night, 7/14/18. I had their hibachi steak and chicken and my wife had the hibachi shrimp and scallop. We also ordered a tuna pizza for appetizer. Taste was good and we enjoyed our time there. Issue was when we got home, my wife felt extreamely sick. I'll spare everyone the details but she got food poisoning and I also had issues. We were almost about to take her to the ER because she thought she was going to faint. Whatever she ate there, did this to her. We had no food other than this place and we only had a snack around 11am the entire day so it was definately whatever she ate there. Bottom lines if you want hibachi, go to Arirang on Staten Island instead.

Awesome, excellent service!

Order was an hour and a half late, when I called I was told sorry we are busy you will have to wait. Manager said food would be here in 15 minutes and an hour later it showed up. Manager also suggested I can pick it up if I wanted. Very bad customer relations, food was alright when it got here, but you can tell the sushi was rushed because it was not rolled tight and fell apart when you picked it up. I had high hopes but it was a giant let down. I will never recommend or order from here again!!!!

Mizu is very good but some things wrong. This is just me but I get full pretty quick so I don’t eat as much but they do give a big portion sometimes and most of the chefs were energetic except one who almost didn’t even look at us but I enjoyed the food. Would recommend with family 👍👍

Great food and service

I love this place but after they reopened, some of the food that I craved no longer tastes good. The hot and sour soup use to be unique and amazing. Now it's tastelee and watered down. The Thai soup wasn't good either and hibachi was off. Maybe a new chef? Please go back to ur old recipes. I don't even want to chance ordering from here.

This place is the one I always prefer. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.
